Q2: Ok, I got access to my hacked account again, but when do I get my stuff back?

Q4: What do I need to provide in order regain control of my hacked account?

As hacked cases can be unique, an evaluation will be made before it is determine what information is required to restore access to an account. In most cases, an email with instructions on how to retrieve the account will be sent to your registered email. If you have not received such an email, please use the ticketing function to submit your issue.

Q5: Be aware of phishing sites and emails

Phishing is defined by any means in which a user attempts to steal another user's information. Phishing commonly occurs on the internet in website and email form. Never provide your login credentials to a site or email unless you're absolutely, positively sure that it's from Perfect World Entertainment. As a matter of fact, here's a list of all the approved URLs where you'd be prompted for your login credentials.

Rule of thumb, if the URL ends in .perfectworld.com, generally you are good to go. Accept no substitutes.

If you are wary of a site, send us the URL through our Ticketing System

Q6: General tips to avoid being phished

  • Keep your system and any anti-virus software you use up to date.
  • Avoid any suspicious websites and emails
  • Don't use hacks, cheats, add-ons with the game
  • Don't share your info with anyone

Q7: Hacks, cheats, or other executable content

This is a no-brainer.  Never ever run a hack, cheat, or similar executable with the game client.

  • This is against the Terms of Use;
  • These types of programs are likely to have key-loggers or other malware built into their programs.

It doesn't pay to cheat.

Q8: Sharing account information and/or using power-leveling services

If this hasn't been mentioned already (sarcasm)... NEVER EVER SHARE YOUR ACCOUNT INFO WITH ANYONE; especially with a power-leveling service! You don't even know these people! Besides, even if you did, it violates the Terms of Service.
